PALAEO-RA

PALAEO-RA combines numerical modelling and mathematical techniques with historical documentary data and measurements, and dynamical analyses to produce a comprehensive reconstruction of global climate of the past six centuries.The data rescue module involves the digitization of early instrumental observations from all over the world. We are digitizing the observations from the Kanold's network (1718-1730), the Palatine Society's network (1781-1792) and the Société Royale de Médecine's network (1776-1786); the temperature data published by Heinrich W. Dove; the weather diaries imaged by NOAA's Climate Data Modernization Program; and much more. The data are available here: https://doi.org/10.48620/7
