Background of the project : National action of preserving and inventorying French climate archives Actions : Inventorying and imaging of 24 boxes stored at the French National Archives (Archives nationales) containing meteorological data from 1868 to 1940 made by semaphores watchmen and lighthouses keepers on the French coast. Digitising of subdaily data (pressure, temperature, wind and humidity).
